yeah broski, just send any questions our way. don’t worry, we’ll give you pleeeeenty of inspiration come may ;-) —- Reuben

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO IT^^

To people who keep asking why I’m not drawing more AoS fan art, the reason is my artistic muse does whatever it wants when it comes to fan art, and when something of interest is on a break, my interest goes on a break. That’s how it is. I’ll probably draw some stuff again when season 2 starts up.

Also, I’m not part of AoS, so please ask them questions about it, not me.

Thank you.

Anonymous sent: Oh wow- I didn't know you liked DragonFable AND Ranger's Apprentice!! Your art's really good and you're a really cool person!!!!

OH MAN, I GOT INTO RANGER’S APPRENTICE AND DRAGONFABLE AT THE SAME TIME, I WILL PROBABLY LOVE THEM BOTH FOREVER.

Anyway, thank you so much, anon! You’re pretty cool yourself!

Anonymous sent: What is this Ranger's Apprentice AU you speak of?? It sounds more than a little interesting.

It’s a dark fantasy/horror AU! There’s a haunted castle, rotting corpses, something like a shapeshifter but not really, and a number of other things that like to lurk in the shadows!

It basically started when me and a friend started talking about horror games (okay, it actually started with me laughing at Resident Evil 6), and then Jay started on about what if Horace and Will were sent to investigate a town in the middle of nowhere that just kind of…stopped. Like, suddenly zero communication from it or anything. Kind of like when Gilan, Will, and Horace went to Celtica, except this time there are dead bodies.

There’s also a castle that has things in it. Specifically, non friendly things.

jay: no, wait, dude
jay: get this
jay: a haunted castle
isko: …keep going

I figured since I mentioned that horror/dark fantasy AU of Ranger’s Apprentice, I should at least post something I drew for it

More characters from that story with the vampire hunters!
These guys are Sirvan and Rajesh. Sirvan is Amir’s brother in law, and previously I called Sirvan and Raj ‘those two married snipers.’ Now they’re monster hunters.

Sometimes Sirvan and Raj and Amir and Min-jae like to have prank wars.

a summary of my week:

+typing up several drafts of a recruitment post for a writing partner on a game/software forum and getting halfway through before deleting all of it because the last time I tried to write a stranger, it ended badly. As in I still ended up doing all the work because the other person knew jack about how to actually go about writing a story for a visual novel, and I have zero desire to do that again.

+figuring out how to price commissions and estimating time for each type of comission

+going through six different character designs for Joshua (New Babylon)

+making a list of things I need to pack/buy for travel things

+spending twenty minutes deciding between mochi ice cream, pan de sal, or the chocolate I like to make champorado.

+crying because art supplies are expensive
